Operation Write Home Annual Memorial Day Blog Hop: FINISH STRONG!

Welcome to my stop on the annual OWH Memorial Day Blog Hop! The challenge for this fabulous hop is to make a card using red, white and blue. I used OWH Sketch #169 as a guide:

My Favorite Things Pure Innocence "Aim High" clear stamp set
Pebbles "Americana" 6x6 paper pad
Copic Sketch Markers
Glossy Accents

OWH is winding down its mission because, thankfully, so many of our troops have returned home.  OWH will no longer accept cards after August 1,  2015.  It's a bittersweet time for OWH volunteers  but we aim to finish strong for our heroes! Congratulations to our leader, Sandy Allnock, for establishing and building a successful nonprofit organization that has provided over three million cards enabling our deployed troops to stay in touch with their loved ones.

I hope you have lots of fun on this hop and that we all take away even more happy memories of our work with Operation Write Home! Here's a link back to the beginning so you can continue hopping:

Another amazing paper pieced card by you Sherry. You are truly among the best at this technique. It's not easy to choose just the right patterns to mix-n-match but you always nail it. I am so happy to have 'met' you through OWH and appreciate the kindness you've shown me over the years. Thank you.

Sherry, you always do a super job with the PI images and this card is no exception. I love how you've paper pieced the dress and the kite. Making the girl a redhead is an extra cute additional nod to the patriotic color scheme.
I'm glad to have gotten to know you through OWH. Let me know if you're ever going to be down my way! :)
