Animal cards theme at SAS4Kids

I love this cute panda, part of a digi set from Tiddly Inks. So easy to use this digi; the only coloring was the ladybug, plus a bit of shading (which I can never resist doing).

One more for "April Suns & April Shadows"

This is the first time I used a "mixed media" background that I had made as a background for one of the MFT Pure Innocence stamps. I like how it turned out and hope you enjoy it!

"Another Year Older" at Cards In Envy!

Welcome!
The new two-week challenge theme at Cards In Envy blog is "Another Year Older"
You have two weeks to make any size or shape card (new rules) that is flat and fits into an envelope.

Here's the birthday card I made. I love this sweet digi. My bow is only one ribbon piece thick with a loose tie that squishes down quite flat.

A card for Mother's Day

My card was inspired by the current challenge at Send A Smile 4 Kids: Cards for Moms or special females. I used a vintage image from Digital Two for Tuesday.

An inspiring theme at Words 2 Craft By

Just when the caterpillar thought her life was over she began to fly.
- Anon

This quote is the inspiration for the current theme at Words 2 Craft By: "Easter/Rebirth".
I happened to get this digi stamp set yesterday and realized it was really nice for this theme; the sentiment and story of Dorothy remind me that we are resilient and resourceful even when things are tough. Here's my card:

"Flowers or Fantasy" challenge at CIE

Hello and welcome--and I know we are all happy to welcome Spring! The new two-week challenge starting today at Cards In Envy is "Flowers or Fantasy".

Did you see the change in the rules at Cards In Envy from only A2-sized flat (not more than 1/4" thick) cards to ANY size or shape card as long as it meets the flat requirement! (After making cards for OWH for five years, I am in the routine of preferring A2 cards!)

Here is my card for the "Flowers or Fantasy" challenge:

DP: Authentique "Seasons" collection (Spring)
Wood-mounted stamp: Hampton Art

Looking forward to seeing what your create for this new challenge! Thanks for stopping by!
