More early Christmas cheer!

I'm having fun making Christmas cards so I thought I'd post a few more! I love the snowman and it was so easy to make. I love the paper I found to make it: Lasting Impressions' Weathered White and Cherry Pie. I used an acrylic stamp set to make a little scene, tied a piece of cranberry & tan string into a bow, and attached a paper button. Hohoho!

OWH Sketch Challenge #27

The printed paper for my card is from a little 5x7 mat pad from Me & My Big Ideas (Michael's). It has some neat vintage-y papers in it. I posted another card I made today (it's not based on this sketch) because I'm having so much fun with the button punch! It was a good day to stay in today and make cards---so hot!! Have a good week!

Midweek Throwdown

Happy Wednesday! I had fun coloring Anthony's cute digi with the Marvy LePlume markers I already had, but I want the Copics! I also used my new button punch -- Paper Wishes sent it really quickly. I love that you can make buttons from any paper; the buttons and card front paper are from DCWV's The Green Stack. Love that all-American red bandanna print! I messed up a bit trying to highlight the edges of the scalloped oval (Spellbinders die), ah well. I also used a Fiskars border punch.

OWH Sketch challenge #26

Hi everybody. For this card I used DCWV's (or is it DWCV?) "The Green Stack". The stamp I ordered from a site I found, www.dragonflylaser.com. They have some neat rubber stamps, including vintage images, which I love. The "thinking of you" stamp is a Hampton Art and I got it either at Michael's or AC Moore, where I seem to be spending all of my free time lately!

Shipper's Choice

Here are two cards I made that kids might like to get from Mom or Dad. You can tell I really like my little owl stamp, haha. Inside the card, I stamped the owl again and added a text balloon saying "You! That's hoo!" The second card uses one of Sandy's cute digis and freebie text. Hope you all have a great day!

Sketch #25

Just me having fun with the sketch challenge. I thought the daisy was a good accent for the punched out daisies!

My first blog tour

Hi everyone! Thanks for visiting my blog. Here is my patriotic birthday card, using the Elizabeth Dulemba image that was on the OWH website. I'm so happy I found out about OWH and I'm having fun learning about cardmaking. Hope everyone has a happy and safe Fourth of July! Greetings from Arlington, Virginia, and my hometown of Washington, DC!!

Happy Birthday America!
