Fun with Jane Austen stamps

Hi! I got the "Simply Jane" stamp and die set from Papertrey Ink for my birthday. I love Jane Austen's books (especially Pride and Prejudice). I used today's new sketch at the Stars & Stamps Blog, #177.

DP: "Almanac Collection" 6x6 paper stack by Prima.

Thanks for stopping by! I'm popping back over to the TV to see who wins the US Open.

Sweeet! Nice combination of papers with this image. I want to try for the prize this week and I was thinking about using an oval.

That's so lovely! I don't think you can be a romance writer without loving Austen's books, (I certainly do), and that perfectly captures the essence and feel of her stories!

I like that you used an oval for the focal point- and what a gorgeous oval it is! I love the stamp-and the flourish in the top right corner! Very elegant!

This is just lovely, Sherri. Your image and die set worked beautifully for this sketch. Like that little corner embellishment also. Were you happy with the results of the US Open? I have to say I was a little bit disappointed. Have a fabulous week.
