One for the guys

Isn't it fun when you look over your digi files and realize you have one (or more) that you've never used? This "68 Camaro" digi is from Stamper's Best.
I had fun last night inserting the digi into a Word document and playing around with colors and different backgrounds. I didn't know I can alter black & white digis in Word to give them a vintage effect as well as other styles. Doh! This background is called "cement". The paper I used is My Mind's Eye 6x6 Portobello Road. I thought this kind of ribbon would be OK on a guy card. It reminds me of racing for some reason. I myself had a baby blue '66 Mustang -- my very first car that I bought myself... a loooong time ago, lol.I followed OWH Sketch 31; the two little strips are embossed with the Cuttlebug Diamond Plate folder. The little flat silver stick-ons were part of a package of multicolored ones I found at JoAnn's 'way back in 2010; they don't sell them any more but if anyone ever spots good flat "bling" like these let me know!! Have a good weekend!

I like how you altered the colors in Word - it never occurred to me either! I'm going to have to try this. Great masculine card, too!

I too have this awesome digi, and I should really use it more often as well! I love the vintage look and great ribbon too! When I think of the '60's and great muscle cars like this, I always think of racing and speed! NJ!
