"Dog House Blues" - Hambo Hoedown!
When I saw the new "Dog House Blues" digi at Hambo Stamps for this week's challenge, I knew I wanted to use shades of blue for my card. I really like navy but it's not a color I go to a lot. The little dog might have the blues but that's one cool dog house he lives in! I wanted to make it look like a weathered New England beach cottage with the grays and blue (Copics -I'm a beginner, lol). I found the little "dog tag" in a pet-themed sticker set at Michael's and pasted "I Miss You" over it. I love my new Xyron for putting adhesive onto rickrack, woohoo! Sometimes those tiny little premade bows are just the thing, and I thought it would work well here. This will be a cute card to send to OWH for a hero to write home on!

Beautifully colored!! Love that rick-rack and the way you did your fun tag!! Nice job on the challenge!
You are so clever to use your Xyron for the ric-rac - I forget I have my little xyron. Your image is colored beautifully.. and does look very beach-y. I especally like the way you incorporated your sentiment onto the dog tag. Thanks for joining us at the Hoedown!
I like your beachy doghouse. The blues are the perfect color for it. I like the sentiment on the tag too. Great job on the challenge. Thanks for playing with us at the Hoedown.

Your coloring looks GREAT! I love your little "I Miss You" tag and the ric rac is a great touch of color to compliment the flowers :)
