Celebrating with a "King Cake"!

Hello! The new challenge at Words 2 Craft By is "Celebrations" with an inspiration quote about Mardi Gras from Mark Twain. I've never been to Mardi Gras but certainly have heard and seen a lot about the festive parades and famous King Cakes. I used two Vera Lane Studio digis to create my version of a King Cake. It was fun adding lots more bling than usual to create a Mardi Gras atmosphere! I could use this for a March birthday card...

Thanks for stopping by!

Oh wow, Sherry, love that cake! It looks scrumptious and festive and I'd sure love a piece! Love that image and how you've placed a crown on top of the container - so clever! What a fabulous card :-) Thank you for joining our "Mardi Gras" challenge at Words 2 Craft By!

Sherry, This is a wonderful Mardi Gras card! I've never been either, but think you've captured the party spirit splendidly with this blinged-up king Cake. Thanks so much for playing along with us at Words 2 Craft By. We always look forward to seeing your entries in our gallery. :)
