The lady wore yellow and black...

At church today, the reader wore a vivid black and yellow blouse; it was really quite pretty and reminded me to make a black and yellow card to help celebrate Sandy's fantastic new craft room!! Then I made the second card, both using this week's OWH Sketch #168! Thanks for stopping over.

It's funny where we draw our inspiration from sometimes, isn't it.
Both cards came out lovely, Sherri.Very pretty papers. They work so well with this sketch as you get to see a lot of each one of them. Enjoy your week.

These cards are so stunning Sherry. Love your choices of colors and patterns. I'm glad the lady at church wore black and yellow to inspire these beauties. Love the tabs on the second one, nice touch. Thanks for playing!

Your cards are lovely! The addition of brads and ribbon give them that extra "umph"!

Sherry, those are so gorgeous! Don't you love how that sketch is so versatile? I hope to have a discussion about inspiration on the OWH blog the last Friday of this month; I hope you'll share your church lady story!
