MWT Challenge: Things with Wings!
The Midweek Throwdown challenge at OWH is to include things with wings on our card. My things with wings are these little butterflies and the bird on the DP. I challenged myself to use all the pieces in this little Recollections pack I recently found at Michael's. Sometimes I buy things and don't use them, lol:
DP: "Lost & Found - Market Street" 6x6 DP Pad, My Mind's Eye
Chipboard pieces, crochet flower border, rhinestones: Recollections Card Making Embellishments kit
Sentiment: Studio G, Hampton Art rubber stamp
I tried to arrange the chipboard butterflies and shapes into a focal point collage, and also to even out the thickness of the card. The pretty photo corner is also in the packet. I also wanted to show off the bird on this beautiful DP. Thanks for stopping by!

That's lovely! I really like the way you arranged it all on the card, and the sentiment is so special!
And yay for you for actually using all the pieces! I go in Michaels, or online and suddenly things just jump into my cart, all on their own, without me having a clue what I'm going to do with them. (That's my story and I'm sticking to it! lol)
So many pretty elements. Lovely card
Sherry, Lovely card. Your birds and butterflies are all very pretty and I really like those flowers. Very sweet card.
"Sometimes" you buy things and don't use them? You've got me beat - I "OFTEN" buy things and don't use them. Maybe there's a 12-step program for hoarding paper crafting supplies!
Your card is just beautiful!
very pretty - like how you let the bird show up also - I had stamped a bird last night to make a card - I must be psychic - now to make it.

This is lovely and I really like how you included so many elements without the card getting crazy. You know what I mean. LOL :) And I'm with Allison, I often buy things and don't use them! It's a terrible habit!
Beautiful card, Sherry! Great elements on this one. It's a wonderful card for a dear friend.
Such a pretty card. And so many sweet embellies. Love it!
