OWH Sketch #104

Here is my post using this week's sketch at the Stars & Stamps blog:
The DP is from K&Company's Americana Designer Mat Pad.
For the stars I used a technique we learned in the Clean & Simple class last week where you punch out something (in this case, stars) several times and glue the layers together like chipboard.
Thanks for visiting!

You used my favorite paper collection of all time! :) I think it's great how the extra layers under the stars give them some dimension! Thanks for sharing.

Red, white and blue is my all-time favorite color combo and that ribbon looks luscious (it make me wish I could hold the card in my hands :) fabulous work with this week's sketch Sherry!

Such nice vintagey colors. Love the stars. Also love your Saturday card with the butterflies - it looks like this sketch, too!

Ooooh I love everything about this card! I don't quite understand the technique for making your stars but I love the end result and that ribbon is perfect. Great job!

Sherry,

I love this card! Very clever to use a pattern with stars for the stars!

I have this pack of paper. Thanks for some new ideas on how to combine the patterns.
