A unique challenge at 55CCT!

I love a good card challenge! The challenge at 52 Christmas Card Throwdown is "Shades of Orange"! I thought of the box of oranges we receive every Christmas and found this vintage image. Then I looked through my paper stash and --stroke of good luck-- this dp from Teresa Collins' "Tell Your Story" 6x6 pad looks like orange and aqua poinsettias to me! I made the little "Joy" tag and added some Stickles to pump up the holiday feel. I'm not sure how well this works as a Christmas card, but I like how it looks and it was a fun challenge!

I find it so nice to see non-traditional Christmas cards. I love the traditional also, but it is always nice to see a change. Pretty basket and I love the Joy tag as well as the Noel along the bottom. Have a joyful day, Sherry.

Sherry, I think this works perfectly well as a Christmas card! It reminds me of the orange groves down in Florida. Thanks for sharing your card with us at 52CCT! :)

I love your take on the colours Sherry! The basket of oranges is just super (I remember getting a mandarin in my stocking every year). Love the little tag! Thanks so much for playing along with our colour challenge at 52CCT this week! Deborah, DT.
