My order arrived from Crafty Individuals!

It's always exciting getting a lovely package here in Arlington, Virginia, from Crafty Individuals in the UK! I made this card with one of my new stamps!

I think I should practice getting the silhouette stamped image darker, but I still love how this one turned out! Thanks, Crafty Individuals.

Victorian Romance card

Welcome! I was looking through the challenges at Paper Playful and spotted a "Victorian Romance" theme at Make My Monday Challenge Blog. I made this card with an image from Digital Two for Tuesday that I colored with Copic Markers:

This is my first time playing at Make My Monday. Thanks for this great challenge theme! I love vintage.

I'm also posting this at the Frilly and Funkie challenge blog for their "Something Old" theme.  According to Digital Two for Tuesday this is an illustration from the February 1897 "The Women's World Magazine" (definitely old). As I mentioned above, I colored it with Copics.

Thanks so much for stopping by!

What's YOUR fave color combo?

Hello! The new theme at Cards In Envy challenge blog is "Favorite Color Combo." I went with one of my fave combos: peach and sage green.

I found the old photo online and "colorized" it a bit like they used long ago. I was going to color her dress peach; then I decided just to add a little color. The beautiful patterned paper is a 6x6 pack from A.C. Moorel I loved that I could use three patterns from the pad.

Here is the card I made for the Design Team:

DP: "Vintage Botanicals" by Love Nicole (A. C. Moore)
Copics
Really Reasonable Ribbon
Square Lattice ef by Stampin' Up
Stampin' Up word window punch

Come on and join the fun at Cards In Envy! Your card can be any size, as long as it meets the theme and is flat enough to fit in an envelope.
Thanks for stopping by!

"Motherly Love" challenge at CIE

Hello and welcome! The new challenge at Cards In Envy blog is "Motherly Love." You can make a Mother's Day card or another type of card that depicts motherly love.  For my card, I used a digi stamp set from Vera Lane Studio and colored with Copic markers:

You can make any size card as long as it fits into an envelope for easy mailing. Have fun and see you at Cards In Envy!
