Hello and welcome!

Here's my card for the Spring Is Here Bloghop!

It has been a beautiful cherry blossom season here in the Washington, DC area, where I live. Have you ever visited DC during cherry blossom time? I highly recommend it, even with all the traffic!
Have a great weekend!

Coffee card fun

Just for fun, I made this card with a digital image from Free Vintage Digi Stamps. I love the retro, vintage look.

Always fun going through my DP to choose papers to complement an image! The background polka dot dp is actually from a Halloween 6x6!

"Elegant Jewels" challenge

Hello and welcome. The current challenge at Frilly and Funkie Challenge Blog is "Elegant Jewels." Use jewel-tone colors and add a gem or bit of  jewelry to your creation.

I went through my stamps and found this digi, one of the very first digis I received; it was a freebie and I can't recall where it came from! I colored it with jewel-tone garnet red and emerald green Copic markers. I thought the rich red of the berries and green holly leaves on the DP complimented the image nicely:
