One of my paintings

This is my recent oil painting of a photo I took at George Washington's Birthplace, near Fredericksburg, Virginia. It is really beautiful there, (much!) less crowded than Mount Vernon, and probably one of the lesser known parks. My painting is 8x10". Enjoy!
I still plan to set up a separate blog for my artwork, but, for now, I think a painting qualifies as a "Bit of Cheer!"

Beautiful paintin! You are multi-talented. The frame does a fantastic job setting the painting off.

This certainly is a bit of cheer. Sherri, What a gorgeous painting. I am so envious of you people with such great talent. My dad was a fabulous painter, sculptor, cartoonist, model maker, just about everything so I really appreciate great talent when I see it. Absolutely wonderful job.
